Use LUIQ as guidance, not a guarantee.

These Terms govern your access to and use of LUIQ. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.

1. The service

LUIQ provides AI-assisted career intelligence and application-preparation tools. Features may include opportunity analysis, resume matching, recommendations, private strategy, document generation, editing, and downloads. LUIQ does not act as an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, employment attorney, or representative submitting applications on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use LUIQ.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining control of the account and email address used to sign in, for activity occurring through your account, and for providing accurate account information. You may not share access in a way that compromises the service or another person's information.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of resumes, profile information, job descriptions, notes, edits, and other content you submit. You grant LUIQ a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, reproduce, and transform that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

5. Accuracy and your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing every recommendation and document, verifying facts, checking formatting and links, and submitting only statements that are accurate and that you can honestly defend. LUIQ may make mistakes, omit context, or rely on incomplete or inaccurate job postings.

6. AI-generated and AI-assisted content

AI-assisted output is a draft and may not be unique. It may contain errors, outdated information, or inappropriate suggestions. You must use independent judgment before relying on or submitting any output. LUIQ does not guarantee that generated content will satisfy an employer, applicant-tracking system, law, policy, or professional standard.

7. No employment guarantee

Scores, fit assessments, recommendations, health checks, and readiness indicators are guidance only. LUIQ does not guarantee interviews, responses, offers, employment, compensation, immigration outcomes, background-check results, or the authenticity or availability of a job posting.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use LUIQ to:

Fabricate qualifications, work history, education, identity, or supporting evidence.
Impersonate another person or submit content without the necessary rights.
Violate law, contractual obligations, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or platform rules.
Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent security or access controls except where law expressly permits.
Use automated means to abuse the service, evade limits, or generate harmful, deceptive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service unless we agree in writing.

9. Third-party services and content

LUIQ may interact with third-party authentication, AI, hosting, storage, job-posting, or other services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, availability, hiring decisions, or independent actions.

10. Intellectual property

LUIQ and its software, design, branding, documentation, and service content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used to improve LUIQ without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

11. Beta features and changes

LUIQ may be offered as a beta or evolving service. We may add, modify, limit, suspend, replace, or discontinue features, models, usage limits, eligibility requirements, storage periods, integrations, or the service itself at any time. We may introduce paid plans or change which features are free, subject to any notice required by law.

12. Availability and data preservation

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. You should keep independent copies of important resumes and application materials. We may perform maintenance, restrict access, or remove content when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service operation.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using LUIQ at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, use creates risk or harm, payment obligations are not met, law requires action, or continued service is no longer practical. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUIQ IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUIQ AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST OPPORTUNITIES, PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL; OR EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID LUIQ DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$100, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify LUIQ and its owners, affiliates, and personnel from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the service, business, or law changes. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. When legally required or when changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

18. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service. These Terms, together with incorporated notices, form the entire agreement concerning LUIQ unless a separate written agreement applies.

19. Governing law and disputes

Governing law, venue, and any required dispute-resolution process will be determined by applicable law and the location of the entity operating LUIQ, unless a separate agreement states otherwise. Consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
